Every Tuesday a brand new game is usually put into the catalog of available titles to experience on Nvidia’s gaming-on-demand service GRID. The most recent title to arrive is ironically also known as GRID, or in this example GRID Autosport. Originally released in 2014, GRID Autosport is a highly detailed racing game where you stand a person services and want to become acquired by a team.
Once you’re picked up, it’s all about winning races. There is a little bit of an RPG aspect with this game too. Players can specialize in their chosen disciplines (or try to master them all because why don’t you), racing with teammates, keep your sponsors happy, beat your competitors, and so forth. In fact there is a lot to do in this game also it doesn’t just focus on one style of racing.
Each class of vehicle also offers their own category as well: Touring Cars, Hypercars, Endurance GT Cars, Prototypes, Single-Seaters, Super Modified vehicles, Drift cars, and much more. While there is lots of cars to collect, there’s also a large amount of tracks to race on, with over 100 routes across 22 locations where you will have to learn. On top of picking up your cars, these can also be modified and upgraded in pretty much every major aspect.
If you want to capture a break from the serious career-style gameplay, there also happens to be Party Mode, Demolition Derby, and other less serious things you can do as well. GRID Autosport will come in full off of Nvidia’s GRID now. GRID Autosport could be played around the Nvidia Portable, Tablet, and Android TV via Nvidia GRID and includes full controller support in addition to multiple controller support.
